Ego Tripping

We're walking a crooked path
heads are swinging from side to side
hats are tilted to the rear
an pants are hanging to the knee's,
with paranoid expressions on our face's!
ego-tripping ourselves to death!
POW!! another life is gone!
mothers are crying outloud!
sisters are growing up alone
an we black men are still asking one another why?
why my brothers?
why must we die!
can't we see that our hate is only suppressed lie's
that leads us to our sinful crime's,
tormenting the soul with our own self infliction!
raping our sister's!
disrespecting our mother's
an we brothers still continue to fall dead
on this crooked path to hell!
what more can we say, or do?
let's stop the hate!
stand up an be proud fathers!
respect our mothers;
be there for our sisters
an we black men start embracing an loving one another!
before know one is left,
not me, not even yourselves,
POW!! another life is gone,
ego-tripping ourselves to death!.
